I’m not tech-savvy at all… can I still have a website?
Absolutely! That’s one of the best reasons to have me build it for you. You don’t need to know a single thing about tech. I handle all the tricky stuff, explain everything in plain terms, and keep it as stress-free as possible. Think of me as your friendly “website translator” who makes the whole process easy and even kind of fun.
What exactly do you handle?
I handle everything from start to finish. That means designing the site so it looks awesome, writing the words so they connect with your customers, making sure it looks right on phones and tablets, and setting it up so people can actually find it online. If you want, I can also take care of things like setting up a business email address, adding photos, and keeping the site updated over time. My goal is for you to never have to worry about the tech side. Your only “job” is to tell me what you want your website to say and show, and I’ll take it from there.
But really… what do you need from me?
Not much at all! We’ll start with a questionnaire that will get me acquainted with your vibe, your mission, and your goals. Then, most of my clients spend just a couple of conversations (by phone and/or email) sharing their vision (or lack thereof if applicable!) and any photos or info they have. Once I have the website built, I’ll need your feedback on the design. That’s it! I know you’re busy, so I work in the background and check in with you only when it’s needed.
What if I need to change something later?
That’s no problem. Your website should be fluid with changes as your business changes or grows. You can reach out anytime, and I can make changes for you quickly, whether it’s updating your hours, adding new photos, or changing the text on a page. If you’d rather do small edits yourself, I can show you exactly how, step-by-step (and with screenshots if you’d like). Either way, you’re never stuck with a site you can’t update.
Do I have to buy anything before we start?
Nope. You don’t have to run out and buy a domain name, hosting, or anything else before working with me. I can take care of all of that for you, then transfer everything to you once the website is live. I can also guide you through the purchase if you’d rather have it in your name from day one. This way, you skip the frustration of clicking through dozens of confusing upsells and just get what you need.
What if I don’t know what I want my site to look like?
You don’t have to have it all figured out before we start. Part of my job is helping you decide on the look, feel, and style that best fits your business or project. We’ll talk about your brand, your audience, and what you like (or don’t like) in other websites. I’ll then create something for you to review, and we can tweak it until it feels just right. This is a team effort. You bring the vision, I bring the design skills, and together we’ll create something you’re proud to share.
What if something breaks or I get stuck?
That’s exactly why I offer website maintenance and support. If something stops working or you just can’t figure something out, you won’t be left on your own. I’ll handle fixes, updates, and troubleshooting so you can focus on your business instead of wrestling with a website.
